Tell your state to join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative!
Average citizens don’t usually get a say in major climate policies. This is one major exception.
The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative might be the most important action being taken against climate change that you’ve never heard of. Established in 2009, this bipartisan agreement between 9 states has been phenomenally effective—carbon emissions from the participating states have plummeted and thousands of jobs have been created.
Here’s the thing: New Jersey and Virginia aren’t part of the agreement, but legislators in both states are openly debating whether to join. If you live in either state, you can make the difference by telling your reps to to join the RGGI.
Tell your governor & state reps: take action on climate change, join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative!
Hey, NJ and VA: tell your state reps to take meaningful action on climate change.
