Tell your state to strengthen the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative!
Average citizens don’t usually get a say in major climate policies. This is one major exception.
The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative might be the most important climate policy you’ve never heard of. Established in 2009, this bipartisan agreement between 9 states has been phenomenally effective—carbon emissions from participating states have plummeted and thousands of jobs have been created.
Here’s where we come in: right now, the program is under review, and member states are considering setting even more ambitious carbon-cutting goals. So far, states haven’t decided either way, but we can make the difference by telling our states to increase their commitment.
Tell your governor & state reps: vote for a more ambitious Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative!
Don’t let your reps back down on climate change.
